Canine Myofunctional Therapist

Sarah Christ

So what’s CMT?

A Canine Myofunctional Therapist is a professional soft tissue practitioner

specialising in the holistic treatment of canines. I do not replace regular

veterinary care.

Chihuahua or Great Dane, young or frail, fit or injured, “Hands on Paws” provides

therapeutic measures which aid in the well being, prevention of injury, and the recovery process of your canine companion. The therapeutic techniques applied

are safe and specific to the need. They aid the muscles and soft connective tissue to work harmoniously, which is integral to the musculoskeletal system. In some cases a veterinary clearance may be required prior to treatment.

So whats involved?

During the one on one session with you and your canine companion I will cover the dogs’ clinical history, observation, findings, and treatment. On conclusion I will advise you of session outcomes, and offer any conclusions and or recommendations.

The session will take anywhere between 45 mins up to 90 mins depending  on observation outcomes. The session location can be discussed at the time of booking.
